DRAWbridge integrates CAD systems such as AutoCAD with the Enterprise Content Management System of EMC² Documentum .
DRAWbridge has been on the market for more than 8 years now, increasing the productivity of thousands of users in the engineering and technical documentation area.
BTM Software now supports the recently released version 1.6 of EMC²’s Engineering, Plant and Facilities Management (EPFM ).
This shows the agility of the company as well as our commitment towards EMC² Documentum users within the engineering space.
EPFM Drawing Management delivers a comprehensive solution to manage electronic drawings within the rich environment of
EPFM.
With EPFM Drawing Management electronic drawings are embedded within EPFM in such a way, that drawings with their
linked files and renditions are handled as regular documents.

The DRAWbridge Suite consists of products providing a drawing management and cad-centric collaboration platform: DRAWbridge integrates CAD-packages such as AutoCAD , MicroStation and SmartSketch with EMC² Documentum . DRAWbridge handles master drawings and their linked files (xRefs, references, raster images,...) as one entity within Documentum.
Through bi-directional synchronisation with the meta-data in Documentum, the title block contains the most current information. The title block information can be synchronised ad hoc (DRAWbridge), as well as automated via a workflow or lifecycle (BLOCKbridge).
The DRAWbridge Suite integrates viewers with Documentum handling the master drawing and its linked files as one entity. The DRAWbridge Add-ins for Brava and AutoVue in combination with Brava! and AutoVue offer non-CAD users the functionality to review, annotate and release drawings. An important function is the possibility to compare different versions of a drawing.
Included is also a rendition engine generating PDFs/TIFFs from the master files and its linked files (RENDERbridge). Full-text index search is another option, giving the CAD user the opportunity to search via component information (such as equipment numbers) stored in the CAD-file (INDEXbridge).
Another option is a plug-in for bulk loading tools, which, as a post-process, creates the links between the master drawing and its linked files in order to handle the master and its links as one entity within Documentum (DRAWbridge plug-in for Bulk Loading Tools).
